While doing Carpet Cleaning it must be made sure that the carpet doesn’t get damaged. Otherwise the whole idea of the activity is lost. This is an activity which must be done with utmost care. To start with the main thing that to be noted is which material the carpet is made of. These days’ carpets are made of different polymers and skins. Depending upon the requirements, look and feel people choose on the carpet they want to use.

The chemical that should be used to clean the carpet depends upon the make of the carpet. For example, some chemicals may be harmful for woolen carpets but may be very useful in other polymer carpets. There are ways to avoid use of harmful chemicals to clean up carpet. There are a lot of different ways to clean up the carpet like shampooing, hot water extraction etc. But now the question is which one is to use. For this the first step is when you chose to purchase a carpet for your house, ask the manufacturer the best way to clean up the carpet. The manufacturers should be able to guide you through the complete process of your carpet cleaning. Another way can be you can ask your neighbors or known people who have already used carpet of that sort. You can collect tips from all around you to rake care of your carpet.


Vacuuming is a very good way of keeping the carpet clean. Vacuum your carpet as frequently as possible. This will take off the daily dirt from the carpet. Vacuuming may not help in case of spill over and other stains because of mishandling or any other reason. For removing these stains we need to take help of some chemicals. There are varieties of carpet cleaning chemicals available in the market. You can always choose anyone among them. But apart then this there are chemicals which are easily available in house and can be used for carpet cleaning. For example, in some cases for stain removing we can use non-chlorine bleach or lemon juice as well. Even a mixture of water and vinegar can be used for removing unwanted stains from carpet.
