Spring is just around the corner which means it is time for spring cleaning. Take the opportunity to rid yourself of the junk that has been collecting all winter and start your summer with a clean home.
There are many different ways to go about your spring cleaning. Many people start their cleaning by going room to room.
If you have decided that you want to go room to room, start with the hardest room. If you start with the most difficult room to clean you will have plenty of energy and as your energy begins to wear down the rooms will be getting easier.
Other people like to ease themselves into the process by starting with the cleanest room. Doing things his way helps some cleaners gain their cleaning momentum they will be able to tackle the hardest rooms going full speed.
Before you start your spring cleaning you are going to want to make sure you have all of the necessary cleaning supplies. You do not want to be in the middle of a project when you realize that you have to run to the store in order to complete it.
Make a mental checklist as you go through your house and think of what materials you are going to need to accomplish all of your tasks. Do not forget paper towels or sponges when you are making your list.
After you have gotten your cleaning supplies and you have decided in which order you want to clean jump in and get started. There is no point in procrastinating your cleaning and you will feel so much better when you have all of the cleaning done.
When you are cleaning you should always remember to start from the top and work your way down. If you do not clean this way you will be very frustrated.
By starting at the top and working your way down you will be cleaning the top of the room and any debris that fall and make the room more dirty will be cleaned as you clean the bottom. If you choose to clean from the bottom up you will have to clean the bottom multiple times.
This means that if you are cleaning your living room you will want to start with the ceiling. Work your way down the walls, clean the couches and any other furniture and finish by cleaning the floor.
